He was a son of the late Hughie Presnell and Mary Hutchins Presnell.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Linda Haynes Presnell; two daughters, Darla Renee’ Presnell and Norma Jean “Jeannie” Presnell and fiancé, Chris Rabb all of Marion; two grandchildren, Jennifer Rainwater and husband, Jason of Lenoir and Daniel Stroughan of Marion; four great-grandchildren, Andrew McNeill, Randol Jones, Chandler Rainwater and Jaslene Rainwater all of Lenoir; and one sister, Betty Thomas and husband, Freddie of Nebo.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Bethel Baptist Church with Pastors Steve Durham and Jimmy Upton officiating.
