Peggy Collen Moore

She was born on July 2, 1934 in Corenline, NC to the late Garland Frady and Pearl Saunrs Frady.

Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Moore and sister Polly Rossi. She enjoyed gardening and blue-grass music. She and her husband had a band of their own and released several recordings.

Surviving Mrs. Moore are two sons; Kenneth Styles and wife Linda of Nebo and Clifton Hughes and wife Shelly of Marion. One daughter Donna D. Washburn and husband Charles of Marion also survives Mrs. Moore. She is survived by one sister, Cassie Hollifield of Greenville, NC. She was proud of her nine grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 1:00 pm in the McCall Memorial Chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home of Marion with Reverend John Crowder officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm on Friday. Burial will follow the services at McDowell Memorial Park.
