Rickey Alan Zimmerman

Rickey was born October 4, 1954 in Burke County, NC to Audrey Berry Allison of Old Fort, NC and to the late Robert Zimmerman.

In addition to his mother, those left behind to cherish Rickey’s memory are his daughter, Shannon Bankert and husband, Jamey; three grandchildren, Mikala, Joslyn and Ethan; one brother, Jonathan Zimmerman and wife, Crystal; and one sister, Cynthia Wise and husband, Ernie.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Kirksey Funeral Home in Morganton. A funeral service to celebrate Rickey’s life will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Johnny Zimmerman officiating. Burial will follow the service at Bethlehem Community Cemetery.
