Stuart Clay Duncan Sr.

He was born January 29,1940 in McDowell County, NC to the late Dallas Clay Duncan and Anne Clement McCall Duncan. Stuart was a member of First Christian Church in Marion, NC and retired from Broughton Hospital as a LPN. He also graduated from Citadel Military College in Charleston, SC and was a veteran of the United States Army Medical Service Corp.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Duncan.

Surviving Stuart are one son, Stuart Clay Duncan, Jr. and wife, Aletha of Marion, NC; one sister, Beverly Anne Monroe of Virginia; three grandchildren, Matthew Clay Duncan, Morgan Alexandra Duncan, and Madelyn Grace Duncan; and two great-grandchildren, Kendall Clay Duncan and Micah Caleb Duncan.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in the McCall Memorial Chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home with Rev. Don Mitchell and Jessie Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
