Ted Dean Buckner

He was born in Rutherford County to the late Odell Paul and Beulah Buckner. Mr. Buckner served our country as a Marine during the Vietnam War and also worked as a healthcare technician for Broughton Hospital in Morganton, NC.

Ted is survived by his girlfriend Marie Gladden of Marion, one son; Theodore Ira Paul Buckner of Nebo, two daughters; Tammy Beighley of Forest City, and Darlene Marie Ellis of Nebo, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 from 6-7:00 PM at Kirksey Funeral Home in Marion, NC. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at High Shoals Church Cemetery in Rutherford, NC.
