Patricia A. "Pat" Brown

Patricia "Pat" Ann Brown, 80 of Markle, passed away on the morning of Monday March 24, 2025 at the Waters of Huntington. Pat attended Bluffton High School. She enjoyed playing Bingo and loved to attend social events. Most importantly Pat loved to spend time with her family and babysit her grandchildren.

Patricia was born on April 4, 1944 in Bluffton a daughter of the late Roscoe and Maxine (Smith) Rupel.

Patricia was united in marriage to Steve Brown on September 4, 1970 in Markle. He preceded her in death on March 20, 2024.

Survivors include a son: Scott Brown of Markle; a daughter: Tammy (Karl) Budrow of Fort Wayne; two brothers: Fred (Margaret) Rupel of Georgia and Ted Rupel of Thailand; a sister: Susan Shafer of New Haven; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter: Teresa Waters; a brother: James Isaac Rupel; two sisters: Joyce Hipsher and Katie Gunn; and two grandsons: Andrew Brown and Eric Waters.

There will be no public services at this time.
