Sandy Schaufelberger, 48 of Bluffton passed away at 7:48 a.m. on Monday, September 17, 2012 at her residence. Sandy was a 1982 graduate of Huntington North High School. She was a 1986 graduate of Ball State University; she received her master’s degree in 2009 from Indiana University. She worked at Do-It-Best Corporation in Fort Wayne. She worked at Indiana Web Academy in Indianapolis for 3 years. She was co-owner of the Markle Do-It-Best Hardware. She was a member of the Markle Church of Christ.
She was born on January 23, 1964 in Muncie, a daughter of Ronald E. and Patricia S. (Will) Lund.
She was united in marriage to Mark E. Schaufelberger on August 5, 1995 at the Markle Church of Christ. Her husband survives.
Additional survivors include three daughters: Whitney (Nick) McBride of Warren; Shelby S. Schaufelberger at home; Savannah P. Schaufelberger at home; a grandson: Daniel D. McBride; a brother: Scott (Cindy) Lund of Markle; a sister: Sharon Lund of Huntington and her mother: Pat Lund of Markle.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 21, 2012 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Markle Church of Christ, 455 E. Morse Street, Markle, Indiana.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the Markle Church of Christ with Mike Duggan officiating.
Interment will be at the Markle Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made out to Shelby & Savannah Schaufelberger Scholarship Fund in care of Myers Funeral Home P.O. Box 403, Markle, IN 46770.
