Annette Scheef Milam, 94, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2015 in a local hospital. Graveside services will be 9:30 AM, Tuesday, September 8, 2015 in Hillcrest Cemetery in Marlin with the Reverend Doug Howell officiating.
Mrs. Milam was born on July 19, 1921 in Falls County, Texas to Alexander Robert and Annie Julia (Dresser) Scheef. She married Willis Frank Milam on June 28, 1941 and they celebrated over 53 wonderful years together until his death on October 6, 1994. She loved sewing, gardening and planting flowers but her true love was her family. Mrs. Milam was a caretaker of people; she loved to serve people. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers; Arthur Scheef and Alfred “Billy” Scheef and grandchildren; James Curtis Elliott and David Carl Elliott.
Survivors include her daughters; Judith A. Elliott of Waco and Pat McFarland of Hewitt, sister; Agnes Huseby of Marlin, grandchildren; Andria Parker, Kenneth Milam, Robert McFarland and Julie McFarland and 7 great grandchildren.
