

Donna Spicer passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015, in Marlin, Texas. Services will be 10:00 AM, Sunday, July 26, 2015 at the Marlin Restoration Branch in Marlin, Texas with Elder Billy Walker officiating. She was 83 years old.
Donna was born May 27, 1932 to Charles Wilbur and Mildred Alice Matz in Custer County, Nebraska. She graduated from Lexington High School in Lexington, Nebraska in May, 1950. Donna became a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in June, 1941 at the age of nine, and has been an active member of the Marlin Restoration Branch for many years.
Donna Matz Spicer was united in marriage to Luney L. (Lew) Spicer on March 4, 1965, who preceded her in death. Donna’s interests in life were to do the Lord’s work, study the scriptures, help all those she could along the way, and take care of her two fine pets, Mitzie and Spot. Her hobby was to paint pictures.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband Lew; a brother and sister-in-law, Dean and Bernadine Matz; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jessie and Lula Chane.
Donna leaves to mourn a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews; and sister-in-law, Iris Matz.
