Gladys B. Guenat, 91 of Riesel entered into rest on Saturday, July 29, 2023. Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Riesel with Pastor Larry Knobloch officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at Adams Funeral Home.
Gladys was born October 4, 1931 in Marlin, Texas to Paul and Selma Koester. She married David Guenat Sr. October 15, 1949. Gladys was retired after being employed in the cafeteria for Riesel ISD for 30 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Riesel.
Gladys was preceded in death by her husband David Guenat Sr., her parents, daughter Glinda Harbour and Becky Sue Guenat, son David Guenat Jr. and great grand-daughter Jordan Kelley.
Survivors include her sons, Kenneth Guenat and wife Nancy of Waco; Ricky Guenat and wife Dawn of Salado; Terry Guenat and wife Peggy of Riesel; 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2
great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Colton Jackson, Andrew Richards, Michael Guenat, Brent Kelley, Richard Wallace and Darrell Koester.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
