Joseph “Joe” Frank LaBarbera, 73 of Reagan, Texas passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. Joe was an adventurous person who loved life. His many friends and family are invited to a Celebration of his Life on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 2:00pm at Adams Funeral Home in Marlin, Texas.
Joe was born December 17, 1949, in Marlin, Texas to Frank and Lena Mae (Harris) LaBarbera from Highbank, Texas. Joe graduated from Marlin High School in 1968. He was a member of Company B, 3rd Battalion, 143rd Infantry, Texas National Guard in 1967. He was in the US Army in the 82nd Airborne from 1969 until 1972 serving in the Vietnam War. Upon returning home from the war, he became a skilled mechanic and welder like his father before him.
Joe is preceded in death by his wife Annette LaBarbera, his parents and brother Nick LaBarbera.
Joe leaves behind his two sons, Joseph “Jody” F. LaBarbera, and Frank “Frankie” J. LaBarbera, his sisters Jacquie LaBarbera, Debi LaBarbera-Miller and her husband Mark, Teresa LaBarbera, as well as his four nieces, four nephews, seven grandnieces and eight grandnephews.
