Leslee was a beautiful kind woman who was loved, is missed, and will always be cherished. She was an amazing wife, mom, sister, daughter, granddaughter, aunt, and truly one of a kind.
Leslee's story starts on November 18, 1983. The middle daughter to Bruce Hunter and Dana Richardson, she was born in Waco, Texas and lived in Marlin, Texas. While she was still little Bruce and Dana moved their family to Austin where Leslee would spend her childhood, grow up, attend school, then eventually move back to the Marlin area in 1998. That's where she met her best friend, her true love, her soul mate, Mike Rose. They were United in marriage on February 22, 2008
Leslee loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved the beach and country music. She loved to read and was often lost in a good book. She was an amazing cook and one of the very best. Weekend get togethers with family were a regular thing at her house. She always had something delicious on the stove or in the oven.
Once diagnosed with cervical cancer, 4 years ago, Leslee never gave up hope. She never complained, maintaining a brave and cheerful outlook of an optimistic future, even through countless radiation and chemo therapy treatments, hospitalizations, and pain. She continued to raise her children and be involved in their lives through their daily needs and dramas as they got older and as a wife to her husband, assuring her family she was going to fight and be here for many years to come. Anyone who knew her loved her and said she was the bravest strongest woman they ever met.
