Miguel J. Lopez Sr.

Miguel had five (5) brothers and five (5) sisters. He met his wife Melinda Ramirez of 43 years in Cameron, Texas. They had three sons, Miguel Lopez Jr., Oscar Lopez, and Hector Lopez. Three daughters Crystal, Cristina and Victoria Lopez. Miguel worked most of his life in Marlin, Texas.

He worked with cotton, grew crops, baled hay, and at last, he had cattle that he loved taking care of. But, the one job he really loved was “Grandpa” to his grandkids. He loved looking at trucks and tractors, and watching wrestling. He had a big heart and loved everyone.

Miguel was preceded in death by his mother and two daughters. He is also survived by lots of nieces and nephews that he loved. Miguel loved his family, friends and neighbors.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Monday, January 9, 2023 at Adams Funeral Home in Marlin with Pastor Irie Cuevas officiating.

Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends and family one hour before the service.
