Patty Haptonstall

Patty Haptonstall, 76, of Marlin, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015, in a Waco hospital. Memorial services will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at Adams Funeral Home with the Reverend Michael Estep officiating.

Mrs. Haptonstall was born on August 10, 1938, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to George Roy and Nola (Daniels) Wood. She married Ronald Haptonstall on November 18, 1983, in Marlin and they celebrated over 31 wonderful years together. Mrs. Haptonstall retired from Baylor University, worked for Dr. Phataley for several years and was a volunteer at Falls Community Hospital. She was a people person; she loved talking to kids and their parents, especially at McDonalds. Mrs. Haptonstall used to love working in her flower garden and yard. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, 2 brothers and her son; Donald Bruce Lewis.

Survivors include her husband; Ronald Haptonstall of Marlin, son; Doug Lewis and his wife, Melissa of Panama City, Florida, step sons; Marcus Haptonstall and his wife, June of Azle, Texas, Roger Haptonstall of Waco, Texas, grandchildren; Wiatt and Ethan Lewis of Panama City, Florida, Laura Miller of Fort Worth, Texas, Rachel Haptonstall of Azle, Texas, Steven Haptonstall and Ashley Meeker of Waco, Texas, great grandson; Ethan Miller of Fort Worth, Texas, nephew; Steve Cox of Indianapolis, Indiana, and niece; Julie Fruth of Indianapolis, Indiana.
