Shirley L. Piske, 84, passed away in Tyler Texas on Wednesday February 26, 2020. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM at Adams Funeral Home with a Graveside Service following the visitation at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Hillcrest Cemetery Hwy 147, Marlin, Texas.
Shirley was born on March 21, 1935 to Avery and Mary Lou Jackson in Fort Worth, Texas. She married Gerhardt “Sonny” Piske on November 8, 1958 in Gainesville, Texas. Shirley and Sonny moved to Marlin in 1974 where she worked as an office manager at Square Deal Financing. The Piskes attended First Baptist Church in Marlin.
Shirley L. Piske is preceded in death by her parents; husband Gerhardt “Sonny” Piske; daughter, Lou Ann Calvert; Sisters, Betty Jo Fowler and Verne Hammons; Brother, Jimmy Jackson.
She is survived by her; sons, Charles L. Sharp, Darrell Piske and wife Debbie and Bobby Joe Piske; and brother, Richard Jackson; 5 grandchildren; and 4 great- grandchildren.
