Verna Jean Stein

Verna Jean Stein, age 78, of Marlin, Texas passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. A visitation for Verna will be held Tuesday, July 27, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Adams Funeral Home, 129 Coleman St, Marlin, Texas 76661. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 11:00 a.m at Hillcrest Cemetery, Marlin, Texas with John Earle Feldman officiating

Verna was born on February 28, 1943 in Springhill, Louisiana to Ellis McClure and Lillian Reynolds McClure. She was very loving and the sweetest mother and grandma. She cared deeply about her family and friends and she will be missed.

Verna was preceded in death by parents, Ellis and Lillian McClure; daughter, Wanda Jean Severson; four brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include daughter, Laurie Ann Repasi and husband, Louis, of Marlin; granddaughter, Amanda Jean Severson; grandson, Andrew Lamour Severson; great granddaughter, Erianna Jeanelle Severson; great grandson, Phoenix James Paul; brother, Reynolds E. McClure; and special niece, Glenda Matysiak.
