

He is survived by his loving wife, Charmaine Arceneaux Unger; sons, Bryan (Laura) and Michael (Francie); grandchildren, Jordan (Rebecca), Mary Frances and Alex Unger, and Erin (Britton) Allshouse; great-grandchildren, Juliet and Ruby Unger.
He was preceded in death by his parents Adam Unger, Sr. and Bernice Emboulas Unger and his sister Delores Laakso.
Adam served in the United States Air Force and retired from Union Carbide. He was a member of the Masons; Luling Volunteer Fire Department, The Cruisin Cajuns, S.M.A.R.T. and Friends of Grand Isle.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, the Saints and spending time with family and friends. He loved his family dearly and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of his life.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, September 9, 2024 at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero LA beginning at 10:00 AM and lasting until 12:00 PM with Words of Remembrance following. Interment will be later.
