Alfred Raymond Harvey

Fritz is survived by his loving wife Adia Rogers Harvey with 61 years of marriage. He was a fisherman his entire life and made many happy memories on the “Papa Smurf” with his wife at his side.

He will be greatly missed by their 4 children, Joseph “Joey” Harvey (Carol), Keith R. Harvey (Pam), Connie Harvey LeBlanc (Tim Sr), and Cindy Harvey Payton (Beau).

He was fortunate to have a full family of 14 grandchildren, Holly Harvey, Joseph Harvey Jr. (Kristy), Christopher Harvey, Ryan Harvey (Jennifer), Shawn Harvey, Timothy LeBlanc, Jr. (Christina), Matthew LeBlanc (Simone), Kacie Savoie Stelly (Matthew), Lee Payton Rouse (Daniel), Christian (Jessica), Beth, Katherine, Anne Marie and Ridge Dowell, as well as 20 great-grandchildren, Jolie, Weston, Timmy, Remy, Cale, Cali, Cami, Layla, Danny, Trinity, Gracie, Gavin, Tevyn, Rylan, Jace, Jacob, Hannah, Leah, Avery and Evan; which were all a gift from God.

Fritz is preceded in death by his parents Joseph Henry “Honey” Harvey and Edna Roberts Harvey Loftin, as well as 6 brothers and sisters, the late Dorothy H. Berry, Joseph “Bubba” Harvey, William “Billy” Harvey, Sr., Robert “Bobby” Harvey, Sr., Joyce Harvey Duet and Edna Harvey Terrio. They have all been survived by one sister, Betty Harvey Fleming.

As per his request, there will not be a traditional wake or funeral service but a Memorial service will be held at The Lafitte Senior Center 4927 Treasure Drive, Lafitte, LA, Saturday, August 29, 2015 from 3:00-6:00 p.m.
