Aline Josephine Smith

Aline Josephine Ross Smith entered peacefully into heaven on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at the age of 95. A devoted wife of the late Robert Hugh Smith. A loving mother of Joyce S. Bealer (Cary), Patricia S. Hebert (the late Richard). A proud grandmother of Robert-Hugh Thomas Bealer (Stacey), Richard J. Hebert, Jr. and Karen Bealer Aristondo and a great grandmother of Meriah Hailey Aristondo, Nicholas Elton Bealer and Kaitlyn Marie Bealer.

Daughter of the late Effie Boudreaux Ross and Charles Joseph Ross. Sister of Ruth Daigle (the late Max) and one sister-in-law Helen Ross (the late Harris). Preceded in death her sisters and brothers, Irma R. Written (John), Florence R. Higginbottom (Sam), Hattie R. Melancon (Andrew), Barbara R. Stansbury (James), Cecil Ross (Shirley), Charles “Chuck” Ross (Grace), Charles “Ba-Boy” Ross (Elma) and Lawrence J. Ross (Mabel).

She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expy., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Visitation from 9:00 am until Funeral time. Interment following in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum, Westwego.
