Alma Vera Fountain Eckerle passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at the age of 88 at Wynhoven Nursing Home. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul John Eckerle for 68 years. Loving mother of George David Eckerle (Vergie), Ronald Timothy Eckerle (Genny and the late Betty), and the late John Anthony Eckerle. Grandmother of Vick Eckerle (Kellie), and John Paul Eckerle (Amy). Great Grandmother of 5 and Great Great Grandmother of 1. She was the daughter of George and Irene Fountain. She is also survived by her sister, Elizabeth Fountain Pieno.
A Catholic Prayer Service will be held in the Chapel of Ellisville Funeral Home, Ellisville, Mississippi, on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 10:30 AM. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM. Interment will be in City of Ellisville Cemetery. Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home of Marrero, Louisiana and Ellisville Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
