Anna Lee Para

Anna Lee LeBlanc Para entered peacefully into heaven on Saturday, March 15, 2014. Devoted wife of the late Lawrence Paul Para, Sr. of 49 years. Loving mother of Lawrence Paul Para, Jr., Lisa Marie Para Lewis (Charles “Mike”) and Gavin Joseph Para (Rachael). A proud grandmother of Brandon Michael Para, Amber Nicole Lewis, Alex Joseph Para, Chad Joseph Para and Austin Anthony Para.

Daughter of the late Anna Belle Badeaux LeBlanc and Emile LeBlanc. Sister of Amanda Vedros, Lydia Newby, and preceded in death Alaine Margiotta.

She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Age 67, a native of New Orleans, LA and a lifelong resident of Westwego. Anna Lee worked for the Jefferson Parish School Board at Westwego Elementary and Little White Rupple for many years. She was a member of the Westwego Civic Association and upon retiring she helped at the Westwego Senior Center, playing bingo, dancing and just enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 11:00 am. Visitation from 9:00 am to Mass time. Interment in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum.
