Annie Lou Lee Speary

Anne Lee Speary passed away peacefully on Monday, June 20, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. Anne was born on June 16, 1935, the eldest of 5 siblings, on a small farm in Tylertown, MS. She moved to the New Orleans area 60 years ago.

Preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Wilsie Lee; her sisters, Maggie Lee and Judy Trapanier; her brothers James Lee and Nick Lee. She was also preceded in death by her beloved grandson, Brandon Paul Giarrusso. She is survived by her loving children and their spouses: Lenita Martinez and Johnny, Wayne and Marcia Lee, Paul and Dianne Landry, Deborah and Mickey Giarrusso, Toni and Tara Blake, and Shae and Newman Sanders, as well as 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and hosts of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Celebration of Life memorial will be held in her honor on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 7:00 PM at First Baptist Church, 276 Oak Ave., Harahan, LA 70123. All friends, family, and friends from the City of Kenner and St. Joseph Hospice are welcome to attend. Please come and share a memory.
