Anthony Joseph Christiano

Anthony J. Christiano passed away on December 14, 2021 at the age of 66. He was born on October 20, 1955 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Joseph, Sr. and Rosalie Junda Christiano. Loving husband of Connie D. Christiano. Devoted father of Tori L. Hall (Chris). Guardian of Catherine Brown (Michael). Grandfather of Toria Gros (Rene), Harley Bourgeois, Haylee Hall and Dystiny Verdon. Brother of Amelia Hollywood (Robert) and Joseph Christiano, Jr. and the late Salvador Christiano, Frances C.Dominique (Rudy) and Ann C. Brown. Godfather of Adley Dominique (Pam), Paul Christiano and Jason Roy. Anthony was also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Anthony retired from the city of Westwego after 30 years of dedicated service. He was also a member of the Westwego Volunteer Fire Department and the American Legion. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and watching John Wayne movies and wrestling.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, December 20, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Westside Leitz-Egan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 12:30 PM. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery.
