Anthony "Lil Sonny" Thomas Encalade III of Lafitte, Louisiana passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025, at the age of 61. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to Anthony "Sonny" T. Encalade, Jr., and the late Rosetta Verdin Encalade. Brother of Della E. Mamolo (Perry), Libby E. Ronquille, Joshua Encalade (Enid), and Nathan Encalade (Pam). Lil Sonny is also survived by his nieces, nephews, Godchildren, other relatives and many friends who will miss him dearly.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, September 5th, 2025 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 9:00AM until the service time. Interment will take place following the service at St. Pius X Mausoleum in Crown Point, Louisiana.
