Audrey Mae Folse

Audrey Mae Folse, age 88, of Waggaman, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021. Audrey was born July 24, 1933. Beloved wife of the late Hamilton Folse; Daughter of the late Bertine Dufrene Boudreaux and Irvin Boudreaux Sr.; Mother of Randy Folse (Cindy), Steven Folse (Lisa), and Scott Folse; Grandmother of Corey Folse, Chad Folse, Curtis Folse, Christelle Folse Dufrene, Justin Folse, and Melissa Folse, as well as being a great grandmother of 17; Sister of Irving Boudreaux Jr., as well as the late Adrella Dulaune, Russell Boudreaux, Tommy Boudreaux, Rosadelle Labuve, and Yolonda Siebert.

She was a native of Raceland, and long time resident of Waggaman. She worked for West Vaco Bag Manufacturing for many years before retiring, before coming out of retirement to work for Jefferson Parish School Board as a custodian at Live Oak Manor Elementary. Her great grandson, Curtis II, remembers fondly what a great babysitter she was. She will be remembered for her kind heart. She was always willing to help people around her.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the parlor of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 10:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 8:00 AM.
