Barbara Ann Kestle Hurst entered peacefully into heaven on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Devoted wife of George Joseph Hurst of 2 years. Loving mother of Brandon Michael Kestle, Erica Landy Kestle, and Eddie Marin Kestle. Proud grandmother of Bryce David Granier, Breanna Nicole Kestle, and Logan Michael Kestle.
Daughter of the late Barbara Ann Murphy Kestle and John Joseph Kestle. Sister of Monalisa Kestle (Allan), John Joseph Kestle, Jr., Richard Mark Kestle (Brandy), and Rocky Kestle.
She was also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Age 44, a native of New Orleans, La and a resident of Metairie, LA. Barbara Ann enjoyed cooking, playing pool, loved gospel music, dancing, City Park, travel and spending time with her family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 12:00 noon. Visitation from 10:00am until funeral time. Interment in St. Roch Cemetery, New Orleans.
