

Carlos was 73 years old. Resident of Marrero, LA. He was born on April 10th, 1948 in Guatemala City.
To the late Francisco Lorenti and late Vicenta Chavez. Carlos is survived by his sister Felisa (Licha) and brother Francisco (Paco) Lorenti. He is also survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Rosalba Lorenti Sagastume. His 2 sons: Edgar (Vanessa), and Alejandro Lorenti. And 6 daughters: Maria Elisa (Bradd), Rosalba (Mitch), Tatiana (Michael), Wendy (Omar), Maria Alejandra, and Maria (Miguel).
A loving grandfather to 19 grandchildren: Katy, Luis, Cindy, David, Gabriel, Valery, Emma, Diego, Sarah, Daniel, Elisa, Lucia, Miguel, Lilian, Sarahi, Gaby, Laith, Hanna, and Faris. Also, 2 great grand children: Daniela and Benjamin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Carlos Lorenti was an alumni of Colegio Salesiano Don Bosco. During his years there, he enjoyed playing soccer and joined the "Juventud Salesiana" (JS) Team, where he had a great time and made great friends.
Carlos Lorenti was a graduate of University of San Carlos De Guatemala School of Medicine. Promocion XVIII. Practicing and devoting his life to medicine for many great years!
Carlos was also a music and art lover! He became a percussionist musician at age 14 and a professional artist at 21.
He was dedicated to the Repousse Technique, being one of the pioneers introducing this art in the United States.
As a father, he instilled in his children the importance of family, love for others, sacrifice, and a deep and abiding faith and dependence on an almighty God.
He was a role model in love, compassion, and generosity to everyone around him!
Through his life, he fought and won many battles. On August 2nd, 2021, we will be celebrating his 30th anniversary on AA; honoring his motto:
"One Day At A Time".
