Carolyn Galluscio

Carolyn was born on August 31, 1938, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Edward Wisner Ritchie and Ruth Alberta Taylor Ritchie. She lived a life defined by devotion to her family, faith, and service to others.

A proud military wife, Carolyn supported her husband throughout the years with steadfast love and strength. She shared her love of music as a piano teacher and as a volunteer church organist, bringing comfort and joy to many through her music. Carolyn also found great happiness in tending her garden, where she nurtured flowers and plants with the same care she gave to the people around her.

She spent her final years at Zon Beachside Assisted Living, where she was surrounded by compassionate caregivers and the love of her family.

Carolyn is survived by her devoted husband, Eugene Hugo Galluscio; her son, Tony Galluscio; her six grandchildren, Kourtney Heiden-Hudson, Nick Wheeler, Bobby Galluscio, Katie Morales, Stevie Galluscio, and Charlie Galluscio; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Maria Galluscio.

Carolyn will be remembered for her kindness, her faith, her music, and the deep love she had for her family.
