Christopher Lawrence Anderson

He matriculated at West Jefferson High School in Harvey, Louisiana and entered the workforce as a young man.

Christopher was a longtime driver for Southland Plumbing Supply/Southern Pipe & Supply in Metairie, Louisiana. He was also a dispatcher and supervisor at Concentric Pipe and Tool Rentals.

Christopher loved to cook and bake in his spare time for his close family and friends as well as serve in Dumaine Street Gang. He was a beloved member of the DSG family and loved to serve the community and promote second line culture in the city of New Orleans.

Christopher is survived by his loving children: Christopher Jr., Christina and Clarence, grandchildren: Chloe, Zoe and Christopher III, siblings: Brenda Peters (James), Claudell Jr., Paula, Lynell, Lisa and Tasha. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents: Nettie and John Anderson and Florita and James Dillard as well as his siblings: Florita, Michael and Lyketta.

Christopher’s memory will be cherished by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, colleagues and dear friends.
