Cynthia “Cindy” M. Oldenburg, age 51, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 12, 2016. Loving mother of Ashley Oldenburg (Ismael) and Brian Oldenburg. Proud grandmother of Nathan Zanchez. Sister of Mary “Ladybug” Murdock (John). Preceded in death by her husband, Mark Oldenburg; parents, Jackson McDaniel and Elizabeth “Betsy” McDaniel; brothers, Jack “Peanut” McDaniel and James “Jimmy” McDaniel. Aunt to Robert Bryant and Brandy Dykes. Also survived by extended family and friends.
Long-time employee and co-owner of Betsy’s Pancake House on Canal St. where she loved to serve her regular patrons. She was an avid New Orleans Who Dat fan. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at First Pentecostal Church, 122 N. Dorgenois St. in New Orleans on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 12:00 pm.
