Daniel Francis Livingston Jr.

Daniel is survived by his loving mother, Barbara Ann Carlin Livingston, his sister, Maureen Livingston Laurent; and her husband, Jerry Laurent.

Daniel was a graduate of Archbishop Shaw High school and attended The University of New Orleans were he obtained an Associate’s Degree. He was a former police officer with the NOPD and the City of Gretna, and later went on to work for Union Pacific Railroad as a Terminal Operator for over 15 years.

Danny loved playing his guitar, watching classic television shows, and joining his friends for coffee. He was an avid animal lover, always willing to take in any animal in need of love. Daniel had a kind and caring soul, always looking out for his mother’s wellbeing even when he was critically ill. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, wry wit, and his big heart. He will truly missed by all of those who knew and loved him.

Family and Friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 for 9 AM followed by a Catholic Mass for 11 AM at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home located at 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero.
