

Born February 18, 1939 – Daughter of the late Barbara Solis Taylor and Charles S Taylor of Westwego, La. Danielle Ann is survived by her husband of 65 years Jerry Pier, daughters Dana Marie, Dara Lynn, sons Jerry Anthony, Darren Paul, Charles Michael. Grandmother of Brandon, Eric, Jared, Taylor, Tanner, Daroy, Devin, Mia, Dastin and Great-grandmother of 4.
A graduate of West Jefferson High School’s inaugural class of ’56 Danielle married her high school love and soon embraced motherhood and family. Some of her favorite things were Louisiana seafood, tamales, tropical fruit, the LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Saints. Baptized one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1968 her work of spreading the “good news” became the sustaining anchor for her life. A strong faith, love for Jehovah and his Son Jesus Christ flourished until her death. She will be deeply missed by all of the families that loved her.
A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home in Marrero on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 11:00 AM. A Memorial Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations to Marrero Congregation’s “construction fund” or for any of the worldwide efforts of Jehovah’s Witnesses may be made at donate.jw.org. on behalf of Sister Danielle.
