Debra Guillot Richard passed on April 24, 2026, at the age of 66. She was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana on March 16, 1960 to Pearl Fields and the late Daniel Guillot. Loving mother of Andre' Richard, Sr. Proud grandmother of Andre' Richard, Jr. Sister of Sharon Golom (DJ) and Beth Reneman (the late Carl). Aunt of Lauren LayPort (Josh) and Caitlin Naumann (Brandon). Great-aunt of Rowdy, Ransom, Ariella and Rylan. Debra is also survived by her "adopted" sister and best friend, Jodie Delaune, other extended family and friends.
Debra had a deep love for life’s simple joys—gardening, perfume and jewelry. She had a natural gift for connecting with others, especially children and the elderly, who were drawn to her warmth and kindness. Above all, she cherished time with her son and grandson. She enjoyed the times she was able to attend his ball games and cheer him on. Debra also shared a close and meaningful bond with her mother, Pearl, a relationship that remained central throughout her life.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
