Dolores Marie Santini Desselle

Dolores Marie Santini Maise Desselle, a lifelong resident of Lafitte, Louisiana, entered into heaven on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the age of 93. Daughter of the late Josenie (Govanni) Santini, Jr. and Dora Creppel Williams Santini. Beloved wife of the late Roubin D. Maise by first marriage and Shelby “Mark” Desselle by second marriage of 53 years. Mother of Roubin J. Maise , Sr. (Penny), Janet Mayfield (Claude, Sr.), Sidney Maise (Ann), Patrick Maise (Reba) and the late Ruby Maise, Elizabeth Maise Gisclair (Paul) and Timothy “Timmy” Maise, Sr.(Nora). Sister of Lindberg Santini, Sr. (Dorothy), Giovanni Santini III (Edna) and the late Delone Williams, Jr.(Florence), Rozona Williams, Beatrice McDonald (Cecil), Trim Santini, Sr.(Lillian), Ozemee “Osie” Santini (Doris), Agathan Schexnider (Roy, Sr.). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A special thanks to Cheryl Jones and family for a job well done. We were blessed to have you as a sitter and friend for the last two years.

Dolores was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, flowers, making crafts out of cement and wood, cooking and spending time with family and friends. She was very talented person and enjoyed making all kinds of keepsakes for her family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 2653 Jean Lafitte Blvd., Lafitte, Louisiana on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 12:00 Noon.

Visitation from 9:00 am until Mass time. Interment following in St. Pius Mausoleum, Crown Point, Louisiana.
