Doris Otero

Doris Otero passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2011, at the age of 78. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward (Eddie) Otero, Jr., mother of Edward (E.J.) Otero, III, and mother-in-law of Sandra Matherne Otero. She was the grandmother of Tina Otero Blanchard (Mike), and Toby Edward Otero (Dana), as well as the great grandmother of Cade, Talon, Aidan, Cru, and Hux Blanchard, and Sienna Otero. She was the daughter of the late George and Ellen Maise Rojas, and sister of Dennis Rojas Sr. (Doris), and the late Raymond and Alvin Rojas. She was the godmother of Jude Moll and Ryan Rojas. She is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews; loving caretakers Luly Chapman, Sonya Gaines, and Pearl White, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family, as well as employees of Westside Clinics, are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Lafitte, on Monday, January 31, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Visitation will be at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, on Sunday, January 30, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM, and at the church from 8:30 AM until the Mass.
