Dorothy "Dot" Mary Landry Durapau passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 19th, 2021 at the age of 94. She was a resident of Marrero, Louisiana born to the late Donat and Marguerite Landry. Beloved wife of the late Charles Louis Durapau for 49 years. Devoted mother of Cheryl A. Collura (Anthony) and Kathy P. Ledet (Marvin). Grandmother of Toni Leblanc (David) and Shawn Ledet (Luciena). Great grandmother of Cory Orgeron (Kourtnie), Cody Orgeron (Kayla), Caden Ledet, Kaleigh Ledet, and Colby. Great-great grandmother of Caden Orgeron, Kohen Orgeron, and Vayla Orgeron. Sister of Shirley Nicholas (Gerald), Whitney Landry (Alberta), and the late Elsie Jacob (Marcel), Helen Perkins (Edward), Melvin Landry (Audrey), Bill Landry (Joyce), and Percy Landry. Dorothy is also survived nieces, nephews, other releatives, and friends who will miss her dearly.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, August 25th, 2021 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 9:00AM and continue until the Mass time. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Gretna, Louisiana.
