Emile Robert Gainey passed away on May 17, 2023 at the age of 60. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to Angelina M. Gainey and the late Joseph Vincent Gainey. Loving father of Joshua James Gainey. Grandfather of Joshua Gainey. Brother of Thomas Davis Gainey, Angelina M. Gainey and Clinton Joseph Gainey. Emile was also survived by Angelina's companion and dear friend, Mickey Walker, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Emile enjoyed playing computer games, taking care of his pets, but most of all, spending time with his family and friends boiling seafood and having BBQ's. Emile was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Waggaman, 401 Azalea Dr, in Waggaman.
He is the missing piece of my puzzle that is gone but will never be forgotten by those who love him. He will be with us forever in our hearts. Love always, Mom
