Eric is the brother of Trudy Giannantonio and Chris Dufrene, Sr. Loving uncle to Chris Dufrene, Jr., Brandy Dufrene, Randy Dufrene, Jr., and Roger Dufrene.
Eric is preceded in death by his parents Russell and Betty Ann Dufrene, and his brother Randy Dufrene, Sr.
Eric loved shooting pool, cooking a great meal and watching the N.O. Saints on television. He was part of a Union as an Insulator.
