Eric Matthew "Droopy" Normand lost his battle with cancer at West Jefferson Hospital on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at the age of 44. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Trent Normand, father, Robert Normand (Sue), sister, Sara Normand, special Uncle E to Gabrielle, Jacie and Alex, fiance, Cherie Thonn and mother-in-law, Trudy Dickson. Eric was proceeded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Ann Juneau.
Eric loved working with his hands. He enjoyed working on cars, motorcycles and was a local tattoo artist by trade. He was the former owner of the new Westbank Tattoos until covid. But more than anything, he loved being a father to his son Trent.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation for Eric on Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero. Words of Remembrance will be begin at 7:15 PM for anyone who would like to share any words or memories with the family.
