Ernie Dwight Knott

Ernie Dwight Knott born Feb 20th 1946 in Childress Texas passed away peacefully on January 24th 2021 at the age of 74 with his loving wife by his side an help from Lakeside Hospice to Comfort him to his everlasting life.

He was born to his late Farther Mr. Fordy Knott and late Mother Molly Thurman Knott.

Ernie was married to his beloved wife Hazel Marie Knott for 35 years and they resided in Waggaman LA after moving from Convent LA. He retired from Pellerin & Milnor as a tool and die maker which Manufactured large commercial washer and dryers. Erine was a lifelong member of the Trinity Church of Texas. He also was a avid Reader of many books and a very Smart man. He was a Cat 🐈 lover and also was a Huge Dallas Cowboy fan and loved Old Cowboy Movies.

He was the Farther to Shay Knott Stubberfield , Step Farther to Craig A Easter and Wife Monique L Easter and Step Grandfather to late Troy J Dufrene Jr. and Misty L Dufrene. Uncle to Shane M Giardina, fiancée to Kaitlyn Rossi.

He was the brother to the late Leroy Knott ,brother in law to Mary Ellen Knott, Brother to the Late Ronnie Knott and brother in law to Jan Knott, Brother to the late Sister Wanda McBee Knott and Brother In-law to the late Jessie McBee. Uncle to AKA Lil SIS Rayetta Elkins , Brother to Flo Rene Knott Ritz , brother in law to Jim Ritz. He also is survived by a host of Nieces , Nephews, Cousins, other relatives and Devoted Friends. Friends and Relatives or invited to attend the funeral services on February 8th

A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, on Monday, February 8, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. Inurnment will be in Westlawn Cemetery in Gretna. Express condolences at www.westsideleitzeagan.com.
