Estanislao Gongora Sr.

Estanislao Gongora, Sr. passed away into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father on Monday, December 1, 2014 at the age of 89. A native of Matamoros Tamaulipas, Mexico and a lifelong resident of Marrero, LA. Devoted husband of the late MariaAna Gongora and a loving father of Maria G. Casas, Evangelina G. Rodriguez (Pedro), Estanislao Gongora, Jr. (Alice), Guillermo Gongora (Lisbeth) and Eusebio Gongora (Stacy). Son of the late Rafael Gongora and Maria Guadalupe Garza Gongora. Brother of Margarita Garcia and preceded in death by 4 brothers and 5 sisters. A proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

“Lalo” owned and retired from Westside Concrete Contractors for over 25 years. He enjoyed working and helping others, farming and mostly spending time with his family.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway.
