Everett Charles Frickey

Everett Charles "Babe" Frickey, age 73, life long resident of Lafitte, LA., entered into eternal rest @ 7:30 p.m. on July 2nd in Crown Point, La., at the residence of his niece and her husband, Sherry & Larry Wakefield. Beloved husband of Lillian "Eve" Para Frickey. Son of the late Marie Adele "Lillian" Dufrene Frickey and the late Charlie Frickey. Brother of Elton Frickey, Sr. of Marrero, La. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Ethel Frickey White, Evelyn Frickey, & Sylvia Frickey. Nephew of Mrs. Betty Jordan Dufrene and the late Rev. Daniel Dufrene of Broussard, La. He leaves behind ten children, fifteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Heartfelt thanks to Dr.'s McSween, Seiler, Gould & their staffs. Thanks also to Sherry Wakefield, Shelly Creppel, and Ronald & Carmen White for love, support and transportation during his lengthy illness. Their relationships were as daughters and son. He also leaves behind a host of family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services at Westside Funeral Home in Marrero, LA on Thursday, July 7, 2011.
