Keith White passed away on 7/11/20 at West Jefferson Medical Center, surrounded by the people he loved, and who loved him. Keith’s death followed a valiant battle with cancer that he fought with courage, determination and typical of Keith, humor. He was the son of Garland White (Judy) and the late Elaine White. In addition to his father, he is also survived by a daughter, Mickey Michelle Reed (Trever), three sisters Carol “Peanut” Albarado, Tina Barrett (Tony) and Tammy Benoit (Al), his dear partner and companion, Phyllis Mulligan, and his friend/cousin/brother from another mother, David Bailes. He is also survived by a host of aunts, nieces, nephews and friends. He was a native of New Orleans residing in Brookhaven, MS.
Keith truly lived his life “One Day At A Time”. His humor and wit made it impossible to stay mad at him. He was an excellent craftsman and was able to do almost anything, once he determined to do so.
Because of COVID restrictions, burial services must be limited to immediate family. He will be interred at Forest Lawn Cemetery (Honaker). Arrangements will be made by Leitz Eagan Funeral Home in Marrero, LA. The family would appreciate reading your comments/remembrances on Leitz Eagan’s webpage.
A celebration of Keith’s life will be held at a future day.
Good Night, Sweet Prince! Our world is a much sadder place without you in it.
