Gerald "Dino" Palmasino

Gerald “Dino” Palmasino, born April 10, 1939 in Lafitte and passed unexpectedly at his home on February 8, 2011 with his beloved wife Bernadine Hess Palmasino by his side. He was the former husband if Judy LaRose Palmasino and the loving father of Tara Palmasino, Dean “Lil Dino” Palmasino and Aneita Palmasino Yocum. He was the son of the late Santiago “Chaga” Pomacino and Annie Padarango Pomacino and the brother of the late Jimmy Pomacino. He was the devoted grandfather of Daysha, Kory, Breahna and Davin Palmasino, Jordan Yocum and unborn baby Kallie Yocum. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends, as well as Westbank Band Members are invited to the Funeral Services at WESTSIDE/LEITZ-EAGAN FUNERAL HOME, 5101 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY, MARRERO, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM and again on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 from 9:00 Am until 1:00 PM at which time a Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Chapel. Burial will then follow in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Westwego, LA. In lieu of flowers, donations to help with funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated.
