Gertrude A. Gamble

Gertrude Agnes Forest Gamble entered peacefully into heaven on Sunday, September 14, 2014. Devoted wife of the late Gordon L. Gamble, Sr. of 46 years. A loving mother of Ronald Gamble, Randall “Randy” Gamble (Sherry), Donna G. Daray (David), Darlene G. Toole (Marcus), Deborah G. Wenzel (Danny Green) and Gordon L. Gamble, Jr. A proud grandmother of Shentell, Shealyn, Brian, Shawn, Jennifer, Janie, Christopher, Elizabeth, Serenity, Faith and 8 great grandchildren. Daughter of the late Leola Marlborough Grosch and James Grosch. Preceded in death by her sister Joann Bing Crowell. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

“Trudy” loved her cats, Baby and Wicked she also enjoyed arts and crafts, old movies and just spending time with family and friends.

Age 75, a native of New Orleans, LA and lived in Avondale for over 40 years and a resident of Pearl River, LA. The family would like to thank the staff of Greenbriar Community Care in Slidell for their compassionate care given to Gertrude.
