Mike was the coolest guy ever! He worked for Boeing at NASA Michoud. He was a very talented "old school" machinist who took pride in his work. One of his biggest accomplishments was contributing to the Artemis I and Artemis II space missions by manufacturing some of the parts that were used on the space crafts. NASA even acknowledged him for this by mentioning him on a plaque, thanking him for his work.
Aside from work, Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, restoring his jeep, riding 4-wheelers, spending time in the woods of Tennessee but most of all, he enjoyed spending family time at the beach. Mike was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.
A memorial visitation for Mike will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero. Funeral service will begin at 3:30 PM.
