Heloise Perez Laurent

Heloise Perez Laurent passed away on August 25, 2022 at the age of 83. She was born in Westwego, Louisiana on June 7, 1939 to the late Howard and Enola Perez. Devoted wife of the late Ralph Laurent, Sr. Loving mother of Jill Doucet (Richard "Butch") and the late Ralph Laurent, Jr. (Yvonne). Proud grandmother of Jessica Usea (Don), Star Lynn Laurent (Damian), Ralph Laurent, III (Jolene), Stacy Guidroz (Stephen) and Butch Doucet (Justin) and great-grandmother of Alieyah Danos, Emily Usea, Mckindsay Danos, Hunter Guidroz and Damian Danos, Jr.. Sister of Dale Perez (Charlene), and the late Ethel Clement (the late George), Wesley Perez, Sr. (Catherine), Beverly Dowdle (Wayne), Howard Perez, Jr. and Patsy Perez. Godmother of Sable Clement Lee. Heloise is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Heloise "Do" loved to travel, dance, cook and clean, going to the casino, window shopping and taking care of people but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren. Heloise was loved and will be dearly missed.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 beginning at 8:30AM until 11:00 AM at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM and interment will follow at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Westwego.
