Huong was a businesswoman who built something out of nothing. She ran her restaurant with a keen eye and a tongue that didn’t tolerate any nonsense. She lived simply, spoke plainly, and took no credit for the strength it took to do both.
A follower of the Buddha, she knew that a person’s worth wasn’t found in what they owned, but in how they carried themselves. She met the world on her own terms—with a witty remark for the foolish and a quiet moment for her faith.

A memorial visitation will be held at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, located at 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA, 70072. The visitation is scheduled for January 29, 2026, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
