James W. Lott Sr.

James Walter Lott, Sr. called home to join his loved ones on Sunday, July 24, 2011 at the age of 81. He was the native of Bogalusa, LA and a longtime resident of Marrero. He was the beloved father of James Lott, Jr., Jerry Lott, Sharon Lott, Robin Lott Heaney and the late Faye Lott Adams and the loving grandfather of 11 and the great-grandfather of 12 as well as the great-great grandfather of 2. He was the son of the late J.C. Lott, Sr. and Myrtis Mae Gill Lott and the brother of the late Edith Gilcrest, Eve Galloway, J.C. Lott, Jr., Jewel Lott, and Evelyn Lott. He was an active member of the Golden Age Club in Marrero and the Marrero Senior Citizen Center and he was a Parishioner of Visitation of our Lady Catholic Church.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services from Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2011 from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM at which time a Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Chapel.
