Joel Ann Mohon

Joel Tregre Mohon, age 77, a native of Hahnville, LA, passed away on February 11, 2018 at her residence. Joel leaves behind her loving husband, Horace B. Mohon, Jr. and 4 sons, Jon Mohon Sr. (Fay), Scott Mohon Sr., Ken Mohon Sr., and Mark Mohon. She was predeceased by her father, Urbin Tregre; her mother, Lelia Tregre; and 1 brother, Euclid Tregre. She is also survived by 3 sisters and 3 brother-in-laws, Nancy Wilson (Charles), Dale Zeringue (James), and Bridget Cornwell (Ben); 1 sister-in-law, Bonnie Tregre; 11 grandchildren Jon Mohon Jr. (Brittany), Timothy (April) Mohon, Angelle Broussard (Jay), Scott Mohon Jr., Kristen Mohon, Ken Mohon Jr., Amanda Mohon, Jacob Mohon, Brooke Michiels (Justin), Joshua Mohon (Nisa), and Rayna Mohon; as well as 12 great grandchildren. Joel loved doing everything with her family and friends: camping, carnival, shopping, and traveling. The family would like to thank all who helped her during her time of illness.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation and Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Hahnville on Thursday February 15, 2018 with visitation starting at 9:00 AM, and the Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Hahnville. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Breast Cancer Foundation or the Fresenius Kidney Center in St. Rose, LA.
